Insurance Affairs

As you know, the conditions and relations between the policyholder and the beneficiaries in the insurance industry are defined by the regulations of central insurance. Regulation 79 of Central Insurance is the last regulation that is the criterion of the relations between the insurance company, the policyholder, and the beneficiaries. This regulation consists of 19 articles and a note, which together with the private conditions of the cargo insurance form the cargo insurance policy. In this article, we are going to explain in detail the conditions or clauses of the cargo insurance that are referred to.

Condition A in Iran's cargo insurance is considered one of the three main conditions of cargo insurance. Clause A is the upper limit of freight coverage and is covered beyond Clause C and Clause B.
Clause A of freight insurance has almost the most complete coverages compared to Clause B and Clause C and over a huge range of total and partial damages and various coverages. Clause A is generally a suitable coverage for many goods, especially sensitive goods. The coverage is also accepted for opening LC, merchants, Customs, and Banks.

Clause B of freight insurance has almost the middle point of coverage compared to Clause A and Clause C, covering general and minor damages and various types of coverage. Clause B is generally a suitable coverage for many goods. This coverage is also accepted. To open an LC, it is merchants, customs and banks. Therefore, after Clause C, Clause B accounts for the largest number of cargo insurance companies, and of course, insurance companies pay the largest amount of damages in this area.

Clause C of cargo insurance has almost the lowest coverage compared to Clause A and Clause B, and it covers general damages. Clause C is generally the minimum coverage that banks and customs demand from merchants. For opening LC, at least Clause C is required. Therefore, the largest number of cargo insurance issued by insurance companies is this type of insurance.

Therefore, after Clause B Clause A is one that accounts for the largest number of freight insurance companies, and of course, in this field we have the lowest number of losses and the highest amount of losses.
