The most of imports of Turkey are Refined Petroleum ($10.8B), Scrap Iron ($10.3B), Cars ($6.98B), Petroleum Gas ($6.82B), and Motor vehicles; parts and accessories (8701 to 8705) ($6.57B), importing mostly from China ($31.6B), Germany ($24.2B), Russia ($20.1B), United States ($12.4B), and Italy ($11.3B).

In 2021, Turkey was the world's largest importer of ferrous scrap ($10.3 billion), non-retail synthetic yarns ($1.65 billion), polycarboxylic acids ($1.52 billion), unprocessed synthetic fibers ($628 million), and sunflower seeds ($453 million).

Turkey as an exporter

The most important exports of Turkey are cars ($10 billion), jewelry ($6.8 billion), refined oil ($6.53 billion), motor vehicles. Parts and accessories (8701 to 8705) ($5.94 billion) and delivery trucks ($5.8 billion), which are mostly exported to Germany ($19.8 billion), the United States ($14.8 billion), the United Kingdom ($14.2 billion), Italy ($11.6 billion), and Iraq ($11.1 billion).

In 2021, Turkey became the world's biggest exporter of Raw Iron Bars ($4.8B), Hand-Woven Rugs ($2.71B), Wheat Flours ($1.11B), Marble, Travertine and Alabaster ($800M), and Iron Radiators ($675M).
